Smart Kids More Likely to Be Vegetarian
A study published in the British Medical Journal has found a connection between kids with high IQs and their decision to go vegetarian later in life. [ I haven't made that leap yet. ] I have zero desire for beef. Not for moral reasons; I just don't like it any more, have no desire for it. Frankly, I'm not entirely convinced that at some later date in the near future, we won't realize there's a low-grade form of mad-cow disease. Judging by our collective memory loss as a nation in many key areas of issues effecting our country, a national decline in skills of broad comprehension as reflected in our obsession with standardized tests as a cure for ...something and the inflexibility to merely allow for differing view points all point to some universal source for this decline in our nation's mental performance. Lead in the drinking water is not the issue as it was for the Roman Empire. But...declining frontal lobe activity and declining structure in the frontal lobes is one of the symptoms of mad-cow disease. And what a coincidence...the beef industry and the USDA won't allow testing for this disease, even going as far as legal action against farms that do test. Merry Christmas. Please pass...the turkey.
