YouTube and MySpace Demographics
When talking about MySpace or YouTube as serious marketing tools, it's a bit like the 70's rocker who announces "and here's something from my new album...." People stop listening. But both sites have promising demographics. More than half of all MySpace and YouTube visitors are over 35. Still not convinced? Here are some grown up brands with content YouTube I turned up in a quick search: Sun Microsytems, Sprint, Apple, Monster.com. In some cases the company probably loaded the videos, in other cases (and even better, I'd argue), consumers did it for them.
