Technorati's Buzz Monitor
I just don't know what to make of Technorati's Buzz Monitor. Readers know I love Technorati. It's a great tool for finding influential bloggers and tracking what topics people are Buzzing about. When I started getting warning shot emails about this great new tool that would track the most popular blog mentions, I thought, "gotta get me some of that Buzz Monitor." This is just the kind of tool I use to put together campaigns. For example, right now a whole lot of you are looking for Halloween costume ideas, safety tips and party ideas. So, it's a great time to produce content around these themes and get links on Halloween oriented sites. Anything that helps to take the temparature of the Internet...that is, determine what searchers are looking for... is a great tool in my book. However, all I seem to be getting from Technorati is an occasional email and a "page not found URL." Anyone have the story?
