Very Inspiring Story of A Strong Family
A few weeks back I caught a brief mention of a player for the Detroit Tigers. I heard the announcer say the player, Marcus Thames, was raised by his mom who was paralyzed from the waist down. Her example helped inspire him through years in the minor leagues and now as a player in the World Series. I thought "WOW! Is that an inspiring story, or what!?!!" I told my wife and we both agreed it was. But I didn't hear more about this story. I wondered if I heard it right. I heard it right. Marcus Thames Mother Inspires and Amazes. After reading the story...I'd agree. She's amazing.
