Samsung names new regional marketer
Samsung has appointed David Henry, a former global strategist from its corporate headquarters, to lead brand development for its electronics division in Southeast Asia and Oceania. Henry will be based out of Samsung Asia's regional headquarters in Singapore as GM for corporate marketing. A former officer in the French army, Henry first joined Samsung in 2003 after working with Cisco Systems. Samsung credits Henry with improving its marketing processes for the European and US markets and spearheading projects in growth markets such as Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand.
