As I've always been a fan adding a little caffeine to your creativity, so seeing this article in a recent edition of Forbes definitely caught my eye: Scientist Develops Caffeinated Baked Goods. Molecular scientist and moonlighting cafe owner, Dr. Robert Bohannon, came up with the idea of adding caffeine to baked goods while enjoying a dougnut and glass of milk one morning. He didn't want a cup of coffee, but missed the caffeinated jolt that failed to accompany his doughnut and milk. He reports that first attempts were pretty horrible. "The caffeine was so bitter it would just make you puke" Bohannon said.  He finally came up with a way to eliminate the bitterness and bond the caffeine with flour in order to successfully bake goods he plans to market as The Buzz Dougnut and Buzzed Bagels.  He's already approaching Starbucks, Krispy Kreme, and Dunkin' Donuts. I'm not much of a doughnut-guy -- but I'd definitely try those bagels! --- Hey!
