According to all the word of mouth blogs and books good Buzz marketing has anywhere from two to seven steps. Everyone agrees on these two fundamental requirements for great Buzz marketing though: 1. Offer a great product or service and 2. Encourage people to talk about how great it is. The concept is great, every owner of a Toyota hybrid can submit a reason why they love their Toyota Hybrid to the site at toyota.com/hybrid. Even people without Toyota hybrids have joined in. Today there are almost 10,000 comments posted by consumers and Toyota is now asking hybrid owners to post videos to the site. The upside for Toyota? Free, passionate and sincere marketing, not to mention tons of links and media coverage.
